Q.. How do I join Neighbourhood Watch?

A. Just contact our email address and we will put you in touch with your local NHW group.


Q. Do you have meetings?

A. Yes. Normally every three months.


Q. Does it cost a lot of money to be a member?

A. No. Some groups have an annual membership of $2, or a donation when joining.


Q. Are members in danger because they belong to NHW?
A. No. Our job is to collect information for the police not to confront people who are breaking the law.

Q. How do we form a group in my area?

A. Just contact our email address and we will advise you.


Q. Is NHW part of the NSW Police Force?

A. NHW is a community managed organization with links to the Police Force. Our local police play a very important roll with NHW, with advise on the law, plus it also supplies information to our NHW groups with crime statistics for each watch area.


Q. What will I get out of being a member of NHW?

A. The satisfaction that you are working with the police in helping to keep your town, village, or suburb, and yourself, a safer place for you and your family to live.


Q. How many hours do I have to work for NHW?

A. Only what time you can afford.
