Fingal head has long been a popular place to have fun, an idyllic beachfront getaway, as peaceful as it is beautiful. It is common for people in far away places to recant their child hood memories of family treks to Fingal Head for the annual holidays.
We live in a quiet sleepy village which has the most wonderful camaraderie and friendly atmosphere, so it seems that this attracts some who would take advantage of us and come here to be anti social.
Neighbourhood watch with the support of our Local Police, embodies all the old village values of looking after the environment and one another, so we have high hopes of invigorating everyone to conquer the scourge of hooning, bad behaviour, destruction of our beaches, vandalism, graffiti, violent behaviour to us and themselves as well as dangerous and irresponsible motor vehicle use in our streets.
We love having our parks and beaches full of fun loving visitors who appreciate a peaceful good time, so we want to help make this available to all by curbing those who would spoil.
