The next step is to complete the application form below. By filling this form out online it means you do not need to complete a physical form. If you would prefer to download the form and mail it in, please download the application form.

Once you complete the form it is reviewed by your local Police Service Area Coordinator at which time they will contact you to verify and complete the application process. Please note, due to the strict guidelines that govern Neighbourhood Watch volunteers, we cannot guarantee that you will be accepted as a volunteer.

    I acknowledge that as the Neighbourhood Watch Program is a crime prevention program, it is necessary to screen applicants in order to assess their suitability to participate. Accordingly, I hereby authorise the NSW Police to check its criminal records and other records in order to determine whether details of any convictions and/or other information are recorded against my name.

    I agree to have my identity recorded on the NSW Police Force database, which would enable the NHW State Coordination Unit to be notified if I am charged or summonsed for a criminal offence in the future.
